Why Webflow?
The main characteristic that fascinates us and brings results is that Webflow takes the painful parts of web development out of the equation, letting us focus on bringing designs to production faster.
CSS is about styling, which we designers do using more complex tools like Figma, Sketch or even Photoshop but there has never been a production-oriented tool that allows us to use languages like HTML and CSS visually like Webflow, which makes our lives much easier.
In this post, we’ll go over five reasons why we start coding visually with Webflow.
1 · Classes and reusable styles are core to Webflow
Styling our website visually through css is amazing, but what if these changes have to be made one by one on the entire site every time there is an update? 🤯 Calm down, this is not the case! Webflow is built with classes as a core component. Meaning Webflow not only makes it easy to build sites, but also to maintain and update them.
2 · Use flexbox and CSS grid
Flexbox and CSS Grids, makes it easier to design flexible responsive layout structure without using float or positioning, meaning we have full control to build your site however you’d like.
3 · Click and go live
Using Webflow we can go from zero to published website in a fraction of the time it’d take when coding by hand. Once you’ve built your design visually, you can hit publish and push your site live.
4 · Powerful CMS or Back office
If you have a growing company and need to make constant updates to the website? Webflow allows you to easily and intuitively update your website and grow your business without having to hire a developer for future updates.
5 · Complex and Powerful Interactions
Through Webflow's native interactions we were able to develop complex and different interactions that allow you to give your site that extra spice and stand out from the competition.
