What makes Gig & Grow different from other agencies?
We're not an agency. Agencies move from project to project and disappear once the launch is done. We act as your GrowthHub team, embedded in your business, continuously involved, and accountable for what the website does after launch. We build your website, and then we manage, optimise and grow it over time.
Where is Gig & Grow based, and what hours do you work?
We're based in Porto, Portugal, on GMT and WET, the same clock as London. UK and European clients get a full business day of overlap and real-time collaboration. For clients on the US East Coast, we provide a strong morning overlap, typically from 4am to 12pm EST.
Will our marketing team actually be able to manage the site?
Yes, and that's the whole point. We build for marketing independence: an intuitive CMS structure, component libraries and live training before handover. After that, your team owns the website, with no tickets and no waiting on engineering to change a headline.
How long does a typical project take?
A full brand and website project runs 8 to 12 weeks from kickoff to launch. A standalone website build, where the design already exists, takes 4 to 6 weeks. We scope every project individually, so you know the timeline before anything starts.
Can you move our website from WordPress to Webflow?
Yes. We've migrated and rebuilt websites from WordPress, Shopify and fully custom systems. Rankings and URL structure are planned before anything moves, because a migration that loses traffic costs more than the redesign was worth. A launch without disruption is the baseline here, not an extra.
Will we be locked into Webflow?
No. Webflow is the right choice for most business websites, and it isn't the right choice for everything. When a project needs something the platform won't do well, we build it in code and host it ourselves. The platform is a decision we make per project, not a position we defend.
What happens on the first call?
Thirty minutes. No deck. No pitch. You tell us about the business, where you want to go, and where things are currently getting stuck, whether that’s the brand, the website, or simply being found. Once we have enough context, we’ll give you a clear estimate of the scope and timeline, whether or not you decide to work with us.
